Joshua Milne
More than 25 years in PR. Fourteen years running his own firm.
Joshua works directly with businesses, founders, nonprofits and events on PR strategy, content development, social media strategy and media relations. He also works with clients to secure podcast interviews and researches and manages relevant award nominations and speaking opportunities. His work spans technology, food, sports business, general business and venture capital.
Joshua has extensive experience working with companies, event organizers and organizations in running and endurance racing. His work includes Boston Triathlon, Runbuk’s World Marathon Challenge and Tough Ruck, with campaigns built around event visibility, participant stories and sponsorship news. A particular strength is securing hometown media coverage for athletes and participants by connecting their achievements and personal stories to the communities where they live or have roots.
Before launching Joshua Milne PR, he managed national media and technology outreach for Constant Contact. At Elevate Communications in Boston, he supported clients including Fenway Sports Management, Roush Fenway Racing, the Deutsche Bank Championship, Head of the Charles Regatta and the Boston Blazers.
Earlier, Joshua managed sports marketing PR at John Hancock Financial Services, supporting events connected to MLB, the Olympics and the Boston Marathon.
Joshua lives in Hillsborough, North Carolina, near Durham and Chapel Hill. He continues to work extensively in Massachusetts, with a focus on Boston, MetroWest and communities along the 495 corridor.
